Once upon a time, in a small town in Texas, USA, there lived a green parrot named Tota.
Tota lived in a big apple tree near a farmhouse. He could speak English very clearly and loved to watch people every day.
The farmer’s name was Mr. John. He was kind, but sometimes forgetful.
One day, Mr. John said,
> “I will go to the city market today.”
Tota heard everything carefully.
That night, some thieves came near the farmhouse.
They were planning to steal fruits and money.
Suddenly, Tota shouted loudly:
> “Hey! Police is coming! Police is coming!”
The thieves got scared and ran away immediately.
In the morning, Mr. John came and said,
> “Good morning, Tota!”
Tota replied,
> “Good morning, John. I saved your house last night.”
Mr. John was surprised 😲
He thanked Tota and said,
> “You are not just a parrot, you are my best friend.”
From that day, Tota became famous in the town.
People called him:
