After researching into the Honey Bee since 2012, finally Cove Honey Bee's was set up in sprin
g 2014 with just one Colony of bees as a hobby, over the summer I split the hive into two producing a new queen givng me two hives to work over the summer. Over the winter we made the decision to expand this into something bigger so the task of acquiring hives over the winter for the next spring started.
2015 has rapidly expanded from the one initial hive bought in 2014 into having three Apiaries sites around the Aberdeen and Shire area giving us a wide range of different Honey over the season. The bees are moved about depending whats in flower at the time of year, here is a little idea what sites we use over the year.
