We are still buzzing after the success of the Alexandria Market & Light Switch On 💡🎄.
There are so many people to thank from our incredible local businesses to the amazing community who came together to make this event happen.
But first, we want to give a special shout out to someone who worked quietly behind the scenes and without their dedication this event simply wouldn’t have happened 💚 Sian Wilkie, owner of local business Wilkie’s Eyecare and Chair of Alexandria BID. For the past two years, Sian, on behalf of the BID, has been working in partnership with the Vale of Leven Trust to help bring the community light switch on back after losing it to Council cuts. Her commitment, energy, and belief in our partnership and our community helped make this dream a reality.
