Many of you may know we have a base in Cheshire at our shop, where you can come and chat about WAPF principles and we can share with you wonderful foods we have found to support you to eat well and enjoy your food.
These fermented condiments are worth trying. We love them!

"Enliven" Your Meals
Live fermented foods are now discussed in mainstream magazines and are all over social media. They are not just the preserve of the traditional food enthusiasts from The Weston A Price Foundation.
When we began offering really live, fermented foods in our Cheshire shop way back in 2005, we could not find a UK producer and we imported a range from the USA. Wow - hard to believe as, 20 years later, there are now fermenters busily producing various vegetable concoctions all over the UK!
Ever on the lookout for interesting live foods, we discovered a super-exciting range from Wild & Cultured that sits in a niche that is not occupied by many producers at all - live and really tasty sauces. Sauces to add zest, not forgetting live probiotics to your plate.
These are bottles packed with concentrated flavour and goodness and of course offer another way to incorporate gut-friendly organisms into your daily diet.
Maybe some of those people who would love to be eating live foods, but just don't get on with sauerkraut and kimchi should give them a try. My favourite of the moment is the Lemon Harissa and so far in the shop it is the Ploughman's Pickle that is selling the fastest, closely followed by the Brown Sauce.
They are, of course, more expensive than a commercial sauce - but that is because of the care and the quality of these condiments. They are so tasty, a little goes a long way.
