We are delighted to have been asked to host a scarecrow for the Appleshaw village Scarecrow trail.

Have you walked the Appleshaw Scarecrow Trail yet?

We bumped into this lovely family enjoying the scenic walk and spotting the scarecrows along the 3km Appleshaw trail! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

It was great to see so much creativity along the way, including Sarah Brightman at Appleshaw Church and the Phantom of the Opera at Pilgrims Europe ! 🎭🎶

What a wonderful way to enjoy the countryside, get some fresh air and discover the fantastic scarecrow displays around our village.

👏 A big thank you to everyone who has helped create and organise the trail!

As we reach the end of another week, we also reach the time when we say goodbye to one of our much loved team members.

After a whopping 23 years service Adrian is hanging up his knives and apron to enjoy a well deserved retirement.

We would like to thank him for his service and hard work - and wish him a retirement full of good memories and adventures.

This week we are participating in Love Lamb week which runs 1st -7th September. This years theme is Make it Lamb.

‘Make It Lamb' is a national campaign celebrating the 11th year of Love Lamb Week - showcasing the naturally delicious taste and versatility of British lamb, while recognising the dedication and hard work of the farmers who produce it.

Lamb is so much more than a delicious Sunday roast. Its array of cuts and ability to carry such diverse flavours makes it ideal for a variety of cuisines, from Greek and Mexican to Indian and British. We love lamb and think it adds a touch of class to any dish.
