Wow! What a phenomenal day at Smokie Fest 😍😍

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and supported our Smokie Fest Mini Market today! ❤️ such an amazing day and it was brilliant to see so many people supporting us ❤️

Our Smokie Scotch Eggs were a HUGE hit and sold out within the first hour! And the Smokie Pies and Cheesecakes were a sellout too!

The Mini Market was a great success, and a huge thank you to Nae Baked Phlump The Fairy House Company David’s Hill Alpacas for being part of the day 🙌 I am already looking forward to having you all back for next year! 🤭

We had our little Kids Station to design an apron and paint your own fish to take home which went down a storm! Some budding little artists 🥰

Days like today are all about community, local food and bringing people together and you certainly did that today ❤️ what an amazing community we have ❤️ Andrew and I are so grateful for all your support 🤗

It’s Smokie Fest day!!! 😍😍😍

Smokie Fest Sunday is here! A day to celebrate our famous fish and our fabulous town🔥

The barrels will be fired up at The Fish Hoose - A&J Moore Fish Merchants, E & O Fish and Cel's Fresh Fish this morning, so you can see Smokies being made in real time and taste them fresh from the barrel, there’s no better way to try them! They are offering tasters and have some amazing new products on offer today too! Check out their pages to see what is on offer!

At 11am, join Morag Smith from Stories of Stone for a historic walking tour of the harbour. Book a ticket on their website.

From 12, pop along to Arbroath Signal Tower Museum for live music, Auchmithie HAAR performances, cooking demonstrations from Wee COOK’s Hayley Wilkes, street food from Fallone's Pizzas & Gelato and WeeCook, tasty treats from Artisana - Exquisitely Decadent Brownies and browse stalls from local businesses house spirits, Sæla Ceramics , Hugo & Biff Pet Accessories Arbroath and Etched & Crafted. The museum is fully open for you to explore too, and it marks the start of The Smokie Trail - pick up a leaflet and follow the trail all the way to Auchmithie!

We’ve also been told to expect a surprise visit from a favourite mascot from Arbroath Football Club - Official! Look out for Smokie Joe and be sure to get you photo taken with him!

Along at The Fish Hoose, there’s a mini market with stalls including Nae Baked and Phlump and a visit from some alpacas too!

We also recommend a visit to The Commercial Inn - Arbroath for a refreshment or two, as you explore Smokie Fest!

They will both be with us from 10am to 2pm on Saturday at Septembers Market - with fresh fish and free range pork....
