We had some lovely a lovely meal out for our anniversary The Port Kitchen. One of the dishes was toast with allioli and anchovies. Really tasty. We have tins of anchovies on the van this week along side all our usual fresh and smoked fish.Back to normal after the stresses of last week so Strathblane/Blanefield tomorrow, Balfron,Killearn’s and Aberfoyle on Wednesday and Carnoustie, Barry , Monifieth, Broughtyferry and Dundee friday. 1 week in Sorrento….

Quality down time together.
Soaking up the atmosphere, the sun and amazing food.
There comes a point in life when pure happy is coffee and time to breathe.
But now we are back , re-charged, van back on the road 🎉🎉🎉, and ready to bring you fresh quality products.

We know you love fish!🐟
This dish contains no fish, however it does have included in it another amazing product that we stock on our van that we really love!

So this is a bed of rocket, spinach, watercress, topped with gnocchi (hold that thought as we’ll come back to that it a moment)
Then on top of that is burratta with frozen chopped pickles and dill.
Now back to the gnocchi…. That was cooked in salted boiled water till they floated to the top and then sautéed in a pan with our amazing seaweed butter from

We made a customers recommended lemon sole dish last week. It is called Sole Portuguese. You need 2 fillets per person and the herb mix is sandwiched between the two pieces of sole and with herby breadcrumbs on top . Really tasty. We had some fish tacos this week for our dinner inspiration. We coated salmon in paprika and chilli and made a refreshing salsa alongside red peppers and onion and sour cream. New on the van today ….Selkie seaweed butter. Great on a variety of seafood or on its own on crackers or toast . I think I’m going to try it with some of the large raw prawns for lunch tomorrow if it doesn’t sell out. Only 9 left and it’s gluten free as well .
