Imperfectly perfect, and proudly organic.
We all choose to buy organic for our own reasons.
For some, it’s health.
For others, it’s the environment.
For some, it’s about soil, biodiversity, animal welfare, or simply taste.
And for many, it’s a mixture of all of it, plus something that’s hard to put into words.
What we love is that every choice is personal.
Here at Macleod Organics, we’re a collective of individuals. Amongst us you’ll find a wide mixture of beliefs around politics, sport, humour, life in general. We don’t all think the same, and we don’t try to.
But there’s one thing we are united in.
We are deeply passionate about growing, consuming, and distributing organic food.
Each of us has our own reasons for caring about it. Some came to it through health. Some through environmental concern. Some through experience. Some through instinct. But the shared thread is this, we believe that how food is grown matters.
We’re imperfectly perfect, just like the wonderful organic produce that is grown!
It’s often the small actions that matter most.
Choosing organic carrots over non-organic.
Choosing a local growers first, over a distant supplier.
Choosing to support a small business rooted in its community.
These may seem like small decisions. But small decisions, repeated collectively, change things.
They change soil health.
They change local economies.
They change habits.
They change conversations.
They change us.
And when we change ourselves… our thoughts, our beliefs, our daily choices… we begin to change the world.
One organic nibble at a time.
Thank you for being part of this with us.
With appreciation,
The Macleod Organics Team
