Set in the heart of Ashburton is the newly-refurbished Ashburton Delicatessen. A family-run business and the brainchild of Robin Hudson, the delicatessen showcases the abundance of wonderful local produce, alongside the very best international artisan products and rare ingredients. Ashburton Delicatessen was officially crowned Devon’s ‘Best Retailer’ at the 2013 Food & Drink Devon Awards, praised

by judges as a ‘truly outstanding delicatessen...with high end unusual products’. A talented chef, Robin Hudson trained at Ireland’s famous Ballymaloe Cookery School and went on to work at prestigious establishments including Bell’s Diner in Bristol, Gidleigh Park in Chagford and Riverford Field Kitchen near Totnes. The ever-growing stream of loyal customers and visitors to the delicatessen are treated to Robin’s wonderful soups, tarts and salads – the magnificent sights and smells of which drift in from the kitchen throughout the day.

We’re looking for someone 18+, working 3 - 4 days a week to include Saturdays.

No experience needed, full training provided, but a positive attitude, strong work ethic, interest in food and great customer skills are all essential.

The role includes:
Serving customers • Food handling • Basic food prep • Cleaning • Restocking
