This little fellow sadly lost Mum yesterday. She was a very old cow but always calved easily and did her calves, well as she did this year. Sadly in all that rain on Thursday night she slipped over in the mud and could not get up. We suspect that in the struggle her heart was badly weakened. He was five days old. He has really taken to the bottle however and we will be sure to get him back with the herd when he is weaned. 🤞we will be able to do him proud.

Collect from the farm by arrangement or from Winslow Farmers Market Sunday February 1 or Haddenham Vale Harvest Farmers Market on Saturday February 7.
