Good morning! The Baldock Haggis has been caught and as you can see here, well cared for by Grant. Here he is carefully putting them to bed for the night. A very rare breed is the Baldock Haggis!!

It's a Double Header!!

In addition to the Haggis & Whisky Sausage we have also produced the RAGU Sausage this week. This is a mixture of Pork & Beef and was very popular last time we put it out.
So a choice of two specials. Which alcohol will you go far Whisky or Red Wine??

Well, we like to be optimistic here! The sun will come out soon and the nights are drawing out slowly so we are getting ahead and preparing for BBQ or Braai season, although Braai's are not weather depending, it's an all year season. So we have some new SA rubs. As huge BBQ fans ourselves we hope to build this more as the warmer weather looms!

Funeral arrangements have now been made and I can confirm that the funeral itself is a private affair as I'm sure you will understand. We are aware that many of you will wish to pay your respects so there will also be a service of Remembrance on Monday 26th January at 2pm at St Mary's Church, Baldock. Everyone is welcome to attend and ofcourse, the family will be there. Thank you for all your kind wishes.

We are proud to announce that we have appeared in the first copy, of what we hope will be many, of the Great Food Club booklet. This booklet has been launched to showcase independant businesses such as restaurants, butchers & fishmongers across Hertfordshire. We have a few copies in store and can get more if necessary.
