📢 Price Comparison time! "HOW MUCH?!" Is often what we hear when you're refilling herbs and spices (in a good way 😅)

This is just a little example of some of the most popular seasonings but most are priced similarly. We've been told numerous times (so don't just take our word for it!) that these are so much better quality and flavour than the overpriced counterparts in supermarkets. There you're mostly paying for a new glass jar 🫠

And as always the beauty of refilling is you can take as much or as little as you like! Only need a teaspoon to try out a new recipe? Just buy a teaspoon! Batch cooking or feeding a small army? Take as much as you need without buying 5 jars at double the price 💚

Come do my refills with me!! After almost 7 years we are still loving refilling our jars over and over. And we are absolutely not organised, what you don't see is there are plenty of days I forget to bring certain jars to fill (like I'm about to go fill a tub of pasta 'cause that low at home) but we usually have some sort of provision here, whether it be a container from the donated shelves or paper bags.

I've had a few conversations lately about sunscreen - so for those of us who are trying to be more conscious of the products we're using on our skin (our largest organ!) here are the two options we stock in store.

Shade has just 4 ingredients - coconut oil, beeswax, shea butter and zinc oxide. As such it is a bit heavier so can take a little longer to rub in, but it provides broad spectrum UVA & UVB protection and works immediately.

Upcircle is a lighter, smoother cream with skin nourishing ingredients, and also provides protection against UVA & UVB rays. It rubs in beautifully and won't leave a white cast.

Both are free from harmful chemicals, mineral based and are reef safe 🐟🐠🦈

Best advise is it's always important to be sensible about sun exposure - to be aware of time spent / try to limit sun exposure, staying in shade or keeping skin covered especially in the hottest times of the day.

Keep reapplying and keep hydrated 🫶

This did my heart so much good 🥰 this lovely bunch from took the time to come visit yesterday - it was just wonderful to chat with like-minded women who just get it! It's no easy path we've chosen in this small biz life but just sharing together was so refreshing and such an encouragement. Thank you Julie, Katy & Caitlin for taking the time to visit, I love this little eco community 💚

Wow, so we went through 20kg of peanuts in just over a week... let's see how long it takes you to get through 40kg 🤣

This is PURE peanut butter, no added oils, palm oil or salt - we love ours with a little sea salt stirred in so you can adjust to taste 😋

I absolutely love this idea! Very excited to be stocking Pages for Good - a social enterprise that brings older volunteers in the Ballymena area together to spend time crafting, chatting & wrapping preloved books to create a mystery book experience!

Each book has been carefully and beautifully wrapped, with a 3 word review attached - I love the idea that you can end up enjoying something totally different to what you might normally choose. Each book purchase supports the work of Mid & East Antrim Agewell Partnership so you are also directly supporting those in your local community - what's not to love?!
