Gamrie Gardens CIC

Gamrie Gardens CIC Gamrie Gardens is an exciting project under development! We are creating a space to nourish, celebrate, heal, and grow.

Welcome to Gamrie Gardens CIC - community allotments, volunteer-led market garden, and honesty shop (open May–Sept), growing beyond organic near Gardenstown, Aberdeenshire, focused on sustainable food and land stewardship. Located in Banff, near Gamrie, the goal of the project is to create a vibrant community space where people can come together to learn, share, and engage with nature. Our vision

is to create a magical and inviting space that respects and celebrates the environment. We are looking for participants, volunteers, and donors to help make our dream a reality. As part of the project, we are building a community garden, hosting workshops, markets and festivals, growing our own food and medicine, and creating a farm shop. We are also looking to set up guest cabins, graze local animals, plant a woodland to increase local wildlife habitat, and introduce 2-3 no-touch bee hives. In the future, we hope to open the space for gatherings, yoga, meditation, and workshops. If you’re looking to make a difference and help create a vibrant community space, please join us in our mission to make Gamrie Gardens a reality.

At least we can still visit her! She’s done a fabulous job of the pond. I’ll try to make a video update about that soon.

As of today we've officially been caring for the land at Gamrie Gardens for 4 years! - and this year has been extra special! We are nearing the end of our season with happy hearts and full bellies and loads of new friends. THANK YOU to everyone who's been around from the beginning, and to the folks who have joined along the way. What a magical journey to be on together. Big LOVE to all. Our hoodies are still the best way to support our project outside of the growing season and from afar. I'll put the link in the comments for that :)

We’ll be set up here tomorrow!

Please can you help spread the word?

Crudie Playgroup are having an amazing fundraising event tomorrow at Craigston Castle's Walled Garden.

There is so much for everyone to do, beautiful things to buy, food to eat and the walled garden looks lovely!

The weather is set to be dry, folk can come and go as they please, there are toilet facilities available and the Craigston Estate has several walks if folk want to stretch their legs and explore.

Thank you so much!
