Tomorrow is VE Day and the cafe manager, Rebekah Lammett and I had the pleasure of welcoming our local veterans in for some refreshments.
The event was enjoyed by all that attended. Thank you for your support and a special thank you to the cafe staff who helped us decorate and serve these wonderful people.
We will remember them.

What a bargain! Plus, we have offers on wine and chocolates, come and take a look. (Ladies don’t forget to ask if they have the more card when they shop for Valentines, you may get flowers and chocolates for under £10 and if they really want they could add a bottle of wine and it’s still under £20).

Well done Ysgol Bro Sannan today (and Mr Perry-Hopton on piano) these children sang their little hearts out while fundraising for the Rhymney Valley Foodbank. They did really well this morning, unfortunately I was unable to stay for the afternoon session, but I was assured by the staff it went really well. Diolch yn fawr pawb xx

Tackling Loneliness this Christmas time.

I have had the most fabulous time today at Cartref Community Hall. Vivienne and Susan, as well as their volunteers have put on the most amazing Christmas feast for this lovely group. I have been welcomed this morning to say thank you to Morrisons for their support, for today and all year round. Well, I would like to say thank you, you really are an amazing bunch of ladies, keep up the good work and we, here at Morrisons, would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year. 👏👏👏👏👏🎄🎄
