Ma Humbugs Old Fashioned Sweet Shop Ma Humbugs Old Fashioned Sweet Shop Established in June 2006 Ma Humbugs are now in their 15th year of trading. Come and visit soon.

We have over 250 jars of classic sweets available to weigh out such as Rhubarb & Custard, Aniseed Balls, Cough Candy and Toffee Bon Bons. Also we have our own handmade fudge in at least 12 different flavours such as Banoffee, Rum & Raisin, Lemon Meringue and Classic Caramel. Then there's the tuck shop classics like Dip Dabs, Sherbet Fountains and Fizz Wiz (Space Dust).

Hello Everyone,

For those of you who don’t know me I’m Nicky, founder and owner of Ma Humbugs Old Fashioned Sweet shop and today marks 20 years since I opened the business!

I can’t quite believe it’s been so long since I started over near Wade Road in Basingstoke. There have been lots of changes through the years and for last 15 years I’ve been located at Viables Craft Centre.

I’m still here with over 200 varieties of sweets in jars, your favourite tuck shop sweets, Belgian chocolates and of course my homemade fudge.

Thank you to all of my wonderful customers for your support, many of you I’ve known since I started and all the new faces who visit. There are children I served 20 years ago who now visit with their own children, that makes me feel very old!

Thank you so much and I look forward to the next 20 years!

Just a reminder that The Basingstoke & District Model
Engineering Society have their ANNUAL STEAM GALA this weekend at Viables Craft Centre. Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th from 10am to 4.30pm the miniature trains will be running along with the traction engine.

I will be open on both days too and look forward to seeing you.
