This Saturday we have our final market of the summer until 5th September and the garden is looking INCREDIBLE!

The kitchen garden is full of life at this time of year.

Every bed is overflowing with colour and abundance. Bees and butterflies move from flower to flower, pollinators hum through the borders, and the garden is alive with the sights and sounds of summer. Alongside nature’s quiet industry are the dedicated hands that carefully tend every bed, sowing, watering, harvesting and preparing the seasonal produce that makes its way from the garden to your plate.

This week, those hands are especially busy as we prepare for the final Summer Farmers & Makers Market of the season.

Join us this Saturday from 9am–1pm in the Walled Garden at Ashburnham Place, where the garden will once again become a vibrant celebration of local food, craftsmanship and community.

Browse up to 40 local farmers, growers, makers and artisan businesses, enjoy freshly baked sourdough and pastries from the Bakehouse, and savour delicious seasonal hot food from the Barn, prepared using produce harvested from the kitchen garden.

Henry and Friends will be providing live music throughout the morning, and Sasha from will be hosting a free clay flower impression workshop for children and the young at heart.

Entry is free, with parking charged at £4.

As Ashburnham Place is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), we kindly ask that only assistance dogs are brought onto the estate.

Whether you’re visiting to shop, enjoy breakfast, or simply spend a morning in the garden, we’d be delighted to welcome you for this final summer market.

At our last market and returning again, we have another Hastings based jeweller. Olive&stone creates beautiful handcrafted sterling silver jewellery inspired by the coast, nature and life’s most meaningful moments. Designed and handmade by jeweller Paris, pieces vary from personalised fingerprint keepsakes and botanical designs to seaside-inspired collections and bespoke commissions, with every piece being lovingly handcrafted and completely unique.

We are so happy to also have Julie Tucker-williams back with us now we are returning to the first Saturday. You will find our jewellers near Grow and Wild and the hall!

We had a beautiful sunny day on Saturday at the market!
flower crown workshop was a huge success! Sasha will be with us in a few weeks at our next market on 4th July hosting a clay workshop✨

The next market is our last one until 5th September so do come along and show your support! The small purchases that you make and the conversations that are had really make a huge difference to all of our stallholders.

Plus we have live music and beautiful surroundings..a perfect summer morning 👌

We are so excited to announce that we will have beautiful brand 100% cotton nighties and baby clothes with us this Saturday 13th June. 100% cotton nighties and baby clothes sells white old fashioned nighties for adults and children and baby clothes which have a vintage feel.
