We have a really great new stall-holder joining us this Saturday 13th June…Copper Pot Gin (St Leonard’s, Hastings Distilled Spirits) Here is a little bit of info about them!..

Gin, done properly

At Copperpot, we believe Gin and Vodka should be more than just a drink — it should be an experience. That’s why we’ve built a premium brand rooted in patience, tradition, and craftsmanship. In a world that prizes speed, we take our time. Every batch is distilled slowly, with care and precision, to create a spirit that’s smooth, refined, and full of character.

Looking forward to giving it a try! They will be based in the barn, opposite the live music 🎶

What a Fantastic Market Day Today ☀️

The sun was shining, the music was playing, and the atmosphere was 👌🏻! We enjoyed delicious food, starting with yummy sourdough toasties from The Barn, alongside a variety of refreshing drinks, including incredible coffee from Bolt Espresso.

Inside the hall, we were surrounded by a stunning range of goods: beautiful ceramics from Hazel and White, unique jewellery from Monea, beautiful baskets from the humble basket, lovely wrapping papers from Zoe Lee, captivating art by Keshara, and exquisite pieces from The Tweed Closet. Susie Saxon’s embroidered creations and Laura’s Tropic skincare added to the fantastic selection.

Outside, we were greeted by the beauty of flowers and plants from Grow & Wild and amazing products from Seed Tube. We savored Happy Mellows, SB Sauce, and venison products from Halfway to Homestead. Our bakehouse offered their usual delights plus cookies! We also had delights like Southdown seasoning, Jarvah Biltong, and chef Dans incredible Divine Source condiments.

Fresh Meadow Farms supplied us with top-quality meat, while Butterworth Farm provided raw milk. We indulged in mouthwatering chocolate truffles from Coastal Cocoa, and enjoyed treats from Natural Cake Company, baked banana, baklava, and Mini Mouthfuls fudge, cookies, and brownies baked by Harri.

Jewelry from Jessica Rose and delicious jams and marmalades from Cade Street Pot and Amre Pasc. Vanessa’s Open Artist Studio was also a highlight. To top it all off, we had refreshing cider from Hurstwood Cider, Booyah Vitality locally made Kombucha, and healthy protein snacks from “the real snacks” and of course our fine kitchen garden produce & the Storehouse with cheeses and olives 🙌🏻

It was a fantastic market filled with lots of happy people! A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support us.

We can’t wait to see you all again next month on June 13! ✨

Here is a bit of info about them!

“Fresh Meadow Farms is a small family farm very local to Ashburnham Place. Following ‘old school’ traditional farming practices which regenerate the soil and increase biodiversity we are a non-intensive farm and our pigs, lambs and cattle are allowed to grow at their own pace and living out in the fields all year round. Our venison is wild and comes from the farm as part of our defined management plan to protect the High Weald landscape. On Saturday 9th we will have a range of pork, lamb, hogget and venison cuts of meat - plus burgers and sausages”

We will have David from serving up barista coffee from his van next to the barn! 🙌🏻
