As you are aware, The Big Birds held their final event on the 29th November. We have loved putting events on in Bedale, but all good things come to an end, however so as not to leave the town without something in it's place, we spoke to lovely Lucy from Real Markets. We are delighted to say Real Markets will starting in Bedale early 2026.

Today signalled a very special day, the last Bedale Banquet and the end of Big Bird Events, we've had a ball, met some wonderful people and traders.
We'd like to say a huge thank you to all of the fantastic traders that turned up today, and an even bigger thank you to you all for coming out to support them.
Thanks for all the support over the last 4 years, you've been spectacular, we hope you've enjoyed the events, and please remember to support small businesses and the community.

The weather looks like it might be a little unkind to us tomorrow (if you believe the Weatherman) but our last event is still planned to go ahead tomorrow.

Good people of Bedale…please note there is a parking suspension of the parking in force on The Northend Cobbles (Bedale Hall side) from 6pm tomorrow Friday 28th November - for The Bedale Banquet street market as part of Bedale Christmas Festival
Don’t make the Traffic Warden’s day and if you’re coming in to
Bedale make sure you move your car by 6pm.
It only happens once a year folks - don’t moan of you get a ticket, you have been warned! ⚠️⚠️⚠️⚠️
