Good morning you lovely lot!! Please note that today, Sunday 24th May, we will be shutting at 2.30pm… Pizzas and deli open until 2pm. Tomorrow, as usual on Bank holiday Mondays, we will be CLOSED. Normal hours again from Tuesday.
This is such a huge day for the A1 Foods family. This evening, we celebrate the working life of the big boss man… Although he won’t be officially retiring until 12th July 2026, we are taking the opportunity of the Bank Holiday weekend to have a huge party.
After over 50 years of working pretty much seven days a week, Rocco is finally calling it a day and retiring back to the beautiful little village he grew up in. Between now and July, feel free to come and say ciao, also, if you ever find yourself in southern Italy, let us know and we will give you his address!!
Don’t panic, your favourite Italian superstore, wholesaler, deli and pizzeria will still be open for a few more years at the very least… We will continue to bring you all the products you need and we will still be open 7 days a week to make sure you’ve always got a chance to come and see us. A message to everybody that has ever been shouted at, thrown out, told to leave and generally cussed at by the boss man, he’s going now, and our doors are open to you all again. All of you are welcome back with open arms and a lot less attitude!! 😂😂
