Good morning you lovely lot!! Please note that today, Sunday 24th May, we will be shutting at 2.30pm… Pizzas and deli open until 2pm. Tomorrow, as usual on Bank holiday Mondays, we will be CLOSED. Normal hours again from Tuesday.

This is such a huge day for the A1 Foods family. This evening, we celebrate the working life of the big boss man… Although he won’t be officially retiring until 12th July 2026, we are taking the opportunity of the Bank Holiday weekend to have a huge party.

After over 50 years of working pretty much seven days a week, Rocco is finally calling it a day and retiring back to the beautiful little village he grew up in. Between now and July, feel free to come and say ciao, also, if you ever find yourself in southern Italy, let us know and we will give you his address!!

Don’t panic, your favourite Italian superstore, wholesaler, deli and pizzeria will still be open for a few more years at the very least… We will continue to bring you all the products you need and we will still be open 7 days a week to make sure you’ve always got a chance to come and see us. A message to everybody that has ever been shouted at, thrown out, told to leave and generally cussed at by the boss man, he’s going now, and our doors are open to you all again. All of you are welcome back with open arms and a lot less attitude!! 😂😂

Just arrived from Sicily, unbelievable quality, shocked me how good they are… Boxes of either 20 assorted mignon baba, 10 assorted large baba or 10 pistachio baba… Only £30.00 each!!!

All individual inside the tray so you only need to defrost what you need… So so good with a potent hit of rum 🤤

Easter produce update for you all…

Columbe are all gone!! Finished. If you are a business seeing this post and you are struggling to sell your Columbe then get in touch and we will try and make a deal.

Ricotta cheese is arriving Monday 30th March, Tuesday 31st and March more on Thursday 2nd April, if you want any then call 01234262000 and order it with Kelly.

Fresh Primo Sale cheese is arriving Monday 30th March, pretty much all sold but we have 100’s of Kilos of the normal Primo Sale cheese which works just as good for your Pizza Chiena.

The last fruit and veg delivery before Easter is arriving Monday 30th March, everybody that has preordered anything please call before you come down to make sure it’s arrived.

Finally, we’re down to that last few hundred Kinder Easter eggs, GRAB THEM WHILE YOU CAN, they will not be here much longer.
