Unfortunately, the Farmers Market due to be held tomorrow, Saturday 10th January 2026, has been cancelled in line with our adverse weather policy due to the heavy snowfall overnight and the potential associated risk to the public, stallholders and staff.

We have contacted our traders and appreciate their understanding. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience that this has caused, however our prime responsibility must lie with the safety of the event.

The Farmers' Market and our wonderful traders will return to Belper Market Place on Saturday 14th February.

Belper Farmers Market is held on the second Saturday of the month from February - December on Belper's historic Market Place between 8.30am - 1pm.

You will notice that for next year we have a special January date as we are holding a 'Historical Farmers' Market' as part of the Belper 250 celebrations. This will be a one off market where our traders will have a variety of historical products, Belper merchandise and you may even see one or two of them dressed up! It will be worth coming out for!

You'll find a huge variety of traders with a wide selection of goods, chosen to compliment what the High Street has to offer.

It's Farmers Market weekend in Belper, open this Saturday 13th September from 8.30am - 1pm on Belper Market Place.

This month we will have brand new stalls and boards for our wonderful traders! Belper Town Council approved a budget for the fabrication and supply of these in addition to the new covers which were purchased in October 2024.

These updates show the Council's commitment to supporting a vibrant monthly market on Belper's historic Market Place
