👋 Get to Know Our Staff – Matt

You’ll usually find me making pies, sausage rolls, or sausages — or keeping the rest of the team organised and making sure everything runs smoothly. 🔪

I’m part of the family here at Woodfords — I’m Graham’s grandson and James’s older brother, so the shop’s always been a big part of life for me.

A lot of the team’s love for cars started with me, and when I’m not at work I’m usually busy restoring a classic car, note my Ford Thunderbird Lowrider, or building race cars in the workshop. 🚗🔧

At home, I live with Briony — and of course, the ten ducks that live with us too! 🦆

You’ll usually find me working in the back preparing cuts, getting items ready for the display, and helping serve in the shop when needed. 🔪
I’m also part of the extended Woodfords family — I’m Matt’s girlfriend, so you’ll see me around plenty!

Outside of work, I’ve got my hands full at home with ten ducks living in the garden 🦆 and I also spend a lot of time looking after my horse, which keeps me busy whatever the weather. 🐴

You’ll usually find me behind the counter helping customers, but right now I’m enjoying maternity leave with my 3-month-old daughter, Isabella 💕

I’m James’ partner (yes, the same James who also works in the shop!) and when I’m not in-store, I’m the one running our social media pages 📱

Outside of work, I enjoy getting tattoos and I own a purple Honda Civic!
You’ll also rarely see me without a coffee in hand ☕ (iced if possible 👀)

I’m also part of the family here — Matt and James are my cousins, and Graham, the boss, is my uncle.

When I’m not working, I’m usually on the PC — I’ve clocked over 2,000 hours in one particular game! 👾And if you see me looking awake on an early shift, it’s probably thanks to the copious amounts of Monster Energy I get through.⚡️

The shop’s a big family thing for me too, as Lauren (my partner) also works here, Matt’s my older brother, and Graham, the boss, is my grandad.

Outside of work, I’m big into cars and own a Mk1 Focus RS. 🚘

I’m also a Manchester United supporter and pretty well known for being covered in tattoos, so I’m not too hard to miss.😅

I’m the owner of the shop, and also Matt and James’s grandad, who you’ll both see working here too — it’s a proper family business.🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒🥩

Most days you’ll find me in front of the oven cooking our pies, sausage rolls, and other freshly cooked items ready for the counter.🥧

When I do get spare time, I enjoy gardening and photography… although being a bit of a workaholic means free time doesn’t come around too often!📸
