ANNOUNCEMENT

On 21st March Joblings Garage Ltd sold its filling station and convenience store to JP & S Services in a planned move away from frontline retailing.

JP & S Services Ltd will be carrying out a full redevelopment of the shop and forecourt with an aim to re-open the site in early May 2024.

The Jobling family would like to take this opportunity to thank our many loyal customers for their past custom over many years and to wish the new owners every success for the future.

All other Joblings business activities are unaffected by this move and will continue to operate in the normal way.

We are recruiting for a sales advisor to join our team delivering a high level of service in our busy filling station.
Previous experience is not essential as training can be provided but it would be a distinct advantage.
Applicants will need to have good communication skills, be self-motivated and able to offer an excellent level of service to our customers.
Main duties will include the operation of our point of sale, stock replenishment and merchandising systems.
Excellent pay (£10.60/hr), including staff discounts, paid breaks and performance bonus.
Corporate uniform provided.
Hours by mutual negotiation.

PART TIME KITCHEN ASSISTANT

We are looking for a self motivated person to join our busy catering team.
Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Applicants will need to demonstrate good hygiene practices and be capable of offering a friendly, efficient service to our customers
The main duties, under the direction of the kitchen supervisor, will be food preparation, using our bake off oven, presentation/display and general kitchen tasks.
The position comes with good rates of pay, staff discounts and staff uniform.
Hours: 9:00am to 2:00pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 7:00am to 1:00pm.

Part Time Vacancy

We are looking for a Kitchen Caterer to work in our busy forecourt convenience shop, preparing sandwiches, hot food and drinks for customers on the move.

Previous experience would be an asset for this position and good hygiene discipline, along with teamworking is essential.

Scheduled work times would, in all cases, include Saturday mornings, with all other hours being negotiable.

Good rate of pay and benefits together with additional supervised training awaits the right candidate.
