Since our grand opening at Scott’s of Southend, we’ve been blown away by the incredible response. So many of you have been coming in eager to get a real taste of Italy, and it’s no surprise that the ultimate crowd - favorites are leading the pack - Pizza & Pasta! 🇮🇹

We’ve snapped a look at our artisan pizza bases in store, right through to our kitchen prep: topping them with traditional sauce, firing them up in the oven until perfectly crisp, and serving them hot. We did the exact same for our premium imported pasta - because you deserve restaurant - quality flavor right at home without all the hassle.

What a weekend! 🥂✨

Our very first weekend at Scott's of Southend Garden Centre was an absolute dream, and our hearts are totally full! ❤️

A massive, heartfelt thank you to Scott himself - pictured here with us - for welcoming The Bottega into the food hall and giving us this fantastic opportunity to grow. 🤝🇮🇹

To every single person who stopped by: thank you! 🙏 We were blown away by the warm welcome from the Southend community, and we were so touched to see so many familiar faces from Billericay who traveled over to support our second venture. You truly make all the hard work behind the scenes worth it.

We are sure that this is just the beginning of a wonderful journey together, and if you didn’t get a chance to visit us this weekend, come by this week for your favorite Italian essentials, pizza ingredients, coffee, and Sicilian cannoli! ☕🥐🍕

Behind the scenes: Grand Opening prep mode is FULLY ON! 🎬🧹✨

We’ve been running non-stop today getting our new shop inside the Scott’s of Southend Food Hall picture-perfect for tomorrow’s big debut. No job is too big or too small - we even caught our new Area Manager, Dragos, busy on hoovering the floor cleaning, bringing it to the next level 🤣

The shelves are officially fully stocked with all your authentic Italian essentials:

🍕 Handcrafted pizza bases & rich traditional sauces
☕ Freshly roasted Italian coffee beans
🥐 Crispy, cream-filled Sicilian cannoli
🧀 Plus artisanal pastas, and so much more!

We’ve poured our hearts into getting everything ready, and we cannot wait to welcome you all inside.

We are beyond excited to announce the official opening of our SECOND store, located inside the iconic Scott's of Southend Garden Centre

After the amazing journey on Billericay High Street, Marco and Ricardo have been working behind the scenes to bring authentic Italian flavors to other parts of Essex, and thanks to Scott we now have the big opportunity to make this dream come true 🙏

Whether you’re stopping in for your favorite espresso, artisanal pasta, or a post-plant-shopping treat, we can’t wait to serve you.
