Bishops Waltham Country Market is part of the Country Markets network of over 450 local markets in England, Wales and the Channel Islands. Country Markets Ltd is a nationwide friendly co-operative enterprise, previously known as WI Markets. It is a non profit-making organisation - after expenses, all proceeds are returned to the producers. It provides a retail outlet for Market members to sell their high quality, home-made produce.

Can’t find time to cook from scratch but want something home made?
Pop in to market tomorrow morning 10-12 Jubilee Hall. Our cooks have been busy and we have some wonderful home cooked meals that you can take home to your fridge.
The baking is tempting too. All butter shortbread, apple pie, gluten free baking and much more…
Fresh harvested veg.
Homemade preserves.
Plants- veg plants, herbs, perennials, border plants.
Garden flowers in fragrant posies.
Craft. Brand new art! The lady in blue featured here is fresh off the easel. Wood craft. Crochet. Hats. Bags. Cards for any occasion.

Check out the first broad beans - you will have to arrive promptly if you want to buy some tomorrow morning!
The veg we sell at market is always fresh, home grown and seasonal. We hope to have lettuce and whatever else is ready to harvest first thing tomorrow.
We will also have a beautiful array of tempting home baked products - sweet and savoury.

Rock Cake free with your cuppa in the cafe tomorrow 10-12 Jubilee Hall.
We will have an array of fresh home baking including sticky ginger cake, and Lemon Limoncello cookies (slightly addictive).
Beautiful garden flowers - fragrant and fresh picked.
Finally some veg! Lettuces fresh harvested tomorrow morning.
Plants - herbs, perennials, container plants, veg plants, all home grown and garden ready.
Beautiful local crafts. Wood craft, ceramics, paintings, creative sewing using upcycled fabrics, expert crochet, hats, bags, lots to browse and chat with the crafty creators.

Plants - veg plants - beans, courgettes, tomatoes, brassicas, cucumbers; planter packs, marigolds, herbs.
Fresh garden flowers - fragrant and beautiful.
Early spring veg fresh from local gardens.
There is space to sit and char with a cuppa in the cafe (with cake obviously).

Market will open at 10am Jubilee Hall.
Our producers have been busy baking, making, cooking, planting, harvesting rhubarb, picking tulips…
It is definitely time to plant out perennials. We have some super plants from our keen gardeners.
The cut flowers will include a “tulip bar” this morning - buy one or more. Pick and mix.
Check out the fresh baking. The gluten free range is excellent. All home made.
We would love to see everyone!
