It’s swarm season again. 🐝

Seeing a big cluster of bees can be a bit surprising, but don't worry, they’re usually just looking for a new home and are quite calm. Here’s how you can identify a honey bee swarm and what to do!

How to spot them:
- A tight, hanging cluster (like a football shape).
- Found on tree branches, fences, or walls.
- Happens mostly between May and July.

If you spot one:
- Keep your distance, they are usually very calm
- Please don’t spray them or disturb them
- Take a quick photo.
- Message us with the photo and location , or another.local bee keeper.

Just a little reminder, we Can't help with
- Bumblebees (the rounder, fuzzier ones!).
Just leave them bee they're not usually aggressive.
- Bees inside a building or structures (like walls, lofts, or chimneys).
-We are not equipped to remove them from structures as specialists equipment is usually needed.

It’s that time of year again! 🐝✨ If you spot a big cluster of bees hanging from a tree or a fence, please don't panic!

Swarm season is here, and it's actually a wonderful thing. It’s just nature's way of the colony growing and finding a new home. It means the bees are healthy and strong! 💛

If you see one, here’s what to do:

🐝 Stay calm – they are usually very docile when swarming as they’re full of honey!
🚫 Please don’t spray them or disturb them.
📞 Call a local beekeeper right away.

If you’re in the Bolton area and spot a swarm, feel free to give us a message! We’re more than happy to help relocate them safely to one of our hives so they can get back to doing what they do best.
