Hello Everyone! We are now taking orders for our next batch of beef boxes which are going to be ready early May! Early ordering is recommended as these boxes have been a long time coming! Our beef is butchered by a local Master Butcher. Our beef is from 100 % grass fed Sussex cattle, that are reared on the farm and fed on natural pastures packed with wild grasses and herbs. Our beef has high levels of marbling, and creamy yellow fat, the result of grass feeding rather than a grain-fed diet, and grown slowly up to 30 months of age. Happy cows = Tasty beef! Our 10 or 15 kg boxes contain a variety of mixed cuts including roasting joints, steaks, braising cuts, and mince. Everything will come labelled and vacuum packed, ready to go straight in the freezer !! Please pm your orders. As always thank you for your continued support! Beautiful happy cows during a recent visit to our friends & local suppliers Great Ashley Farm Bed and Breakfast nr. Bath and Bradford-on-Avon.
Their gorgeous grass fed Sussex X herd are less than 5 miles down the road from us here at Lowden, keeping food miles to a minimum.
