Italia Sausage Breakfast Focaccia 🌭
Big Bank Holiday Brunch…sorted! And yes, you absolutely *can* make your brunch on the BBQ! ☀️
Ingredients
• HECK! Chicken Italia Chipolatas
• Focaccia loaf × 1 large
• Ricotta × 200g
• Red pepper × 1
• Tomato x 1
• Basil leaves
• Olive oil
• Salt & pepper
Method
· Heat the oven to 190°C.
· Slice the pepper, toss with olive oil and spread out on a tray.
· Roast for around 20 minutes until soft, sweet and lightly charred.
· Cook the sausages by pan-frying or grilling until golden and cooked through.
· Slice the sausages lengthways and set aside.
· Warm the focaccia in the oven until soft inside with a little crisp on the edges.
· Slice the focaccia open, ready to build.
· Spread a generous layer of ricotta over the base.
· Layer up with the sausage, sliced tomato and roasted peppers.
· Season lightly, close up, and get stuck in.
