It's the long-awaited sunny Christmas market, with miniature donkeys in attendance! And WHAT a lineup we have:
- The back hall is again chockablock with makers and artists, curated by Silver Spur. Expect pottery, handmade bags, vintage finds, jewelry, a kids' table, etc.
- On stage in our cafe is a festive swing choir joining late morning.
- We also have a donation-fuelled mulled w**e stand to help raise funds for our sibling social projects.
- We're expecting the bulk of the Christmas trees to disappear, potted and cut ones.
On the food market pitch:
- Becky's Brownies is back with the holiday specials.
- Cheesolgy is living the dream this time of year.
- Bodhi's Kitchen does sweet and savoury treats to die for.
- Macarons by Dark are ... extraordinary macarons.
- American Joe's Sausage Rolls are very popular.
- Chilli Shaak make hot curries, bhajis, samosas, etc.
- Old Tree Brewery are very good at botanical drinks.
- NEW trader Ham Street Wines do low-intervention w**es grown locally.
- Mirandas Plants is the place to get your winter flowering bulbs.
- Our pal Sandra has dried flowers and other decor.
- Flint Owl Bakery keeps us stuffed with sourdough bread and pastry.
- Rock Farm of course has you covered with the full range of locally grown veg.
- Babushka is a cake and cookie baker of great repute.
- The Pudding Co. is known for traditional and modern puds.
- Wise Tree Oil is a farm-direct olive oil source.
- Perfectly Preserved is the jam and marmalade guru.
- My Skin Feels is an amazing skin-care brand using waste veg scraps.
- Wild Alchemy makes kefir, kale crisps, and other gut-boosting things.
- Calcot Farm Produce is your serious farmer/butcher.
And of course, we have Christmas trees and donkeys from the brilliant Nonnington Farm! That's a big bash.
