When we made it, someone said:

UK sandwiches are getting way too safe.

Same bread.Same fillings.Same boring bite.

So we made something reckless.

Calabrian nduja.Neapolitan friarielli.Smoked buffalo provola.Spicy sausage ragĂą.

Smoky.Spicy.Messy.Ridiculously rich.

This isn’t your average “Italian sandwich”.

It’s the kind of sandwich that makes you stop halfway through…look at it…and think:

“yeah… this is getting out of hand.”

Worst part?

After this, every other sandwich tastes bland.

Someone told us:
“You’ve gone too far with this sandwich.”

Maybe they were right.

Italian fennel.
Tuscan vegetarian-rennet pecorino fondue.
Organic clementine honey.
Truffle cooked ham.

The problem is…
after the first bite,
people stop talking.

You just get that look:
“Right… this is different.”

This isn’t one of those sandwiches made for Instagram.
It’s made to stay in your head.

And honestly?
It probably won’t stay on the menu for long.

It wasn’t planned.

It was a kitchen mistake.

Truffle ham, sautéed escarole, Taggiasca olives, buffalo mozzarella.
Thrown together to avoid waste.

First bite stopped everything.

Now the real question is:
why does this feel more right than planned?
