Hello People of Sherston!
FYI - A little info.
Along with most people, you’re unlikely to have realised that you’ve probably been eating unpasteurised cheese most of your life. Parmesan, for example, is always made with unpasteurised milk (the Italian decree insists on it), as is Swiss Gruyère, Roquefort, Comté… the list goes on. (Court yard dairy info).
🧀 - We sell both Pasteurised and unpasteurised cheeses on our market stalls and supply to restaurants, farm-shops and deli’s a like.
🧀 - We are not cheese producers and we do not handle naked cheese unless for a customer sample purposes which we do in front of you.
🧀 - At Markets, during - before and after busy periods and dealing with hundreds of different cheeses a day, at times we may misinterpret or accidentally make a mistake which for example if a cheese is pasteurised when in fact it is unpasteurised, it’s washed in cider or brandy and or is not etc, wrapped in vine leaves etc , we do ourselves at times get muddled or confused. (If only for a split second).
🧀 - We try our best to bring you new and exciting cheeses however we may/can and do get things wrong from time to time - we are human, so please - please check all cheeses for yourselves and we will do our very best to advise you also. At markets you can physically handle the produce to inspect and sample ❤️
All individual cheeses are packed and labeled by our suppliers with all ingredients stated, if pastured or unpasteurised - with/without nuts and or any other ingredients (ie) alcohol related.
We try our very best!
🧀 - Thank you for your continued custom!
We appreciate each and every order however big or small.
Ps, who enjoyed the new line of beautiful salted roll butter today? 😋
WLC ❤️
