3rd generation family Butcher, taken on in 1952 by the Hawes family and established in the 1800s, has been transformed from a traditional Butchers shop into an impressive Food Emporium complete with a Butchers, Delicatessen, Take Away and Coffee station.
The Hawes’ family vision was to create a high street Farm Shop which truly inspires locals and educates people visiting the area. Where the locals, tourists, young and old can taste the food the Cotswolds produce, and enjoy the offerings of the twenty five plus local farmers and suppliers they proudly support. Customers can also indulge in homemade cakes, quiches and sandwiches all made close by by their talented in house kitchen team.
With many customers asking for high quality Vegetarian produce WJ Castle have stepped up to the demand and are proud to produce in house Vegetarian ready meals, pies and pastries, catering for the modern family needs.
