For almost a year now, Iā€™ve been opening the same doorā€”day in, day outā€”and it has never once felt ordinary. What started as a leap of faith, a bundle of nerves, and a whirlwind of last-minute preparations has slowly grown into something so much bigger than I ever expected: my second home.

This time last year, the stress levels were high, the late nights were many, and the ā€œam I really ready?ā€ moments were constant, I only released the opening date two days prior!

This weekend, we get to celebrate a truly special milestoneā€”our 1st birthday šŸŽ‰

Let the countdown begin šŸŽ„

Starting from today The Barton Deli staff will be placing laminated cards that look like these around the village each day. Once found just bring it to the shop and exchange it for a Christmas book from our advent calendar šŸ“•

Please note the books are recommended for children up to the age of 8.

Donā€™t forget there is our cupcake design competition, we are looking forward to seeing some festive designs šŸŽ… Just pop your ideas on to a plain piece of paper and post them through our letterbox. Competition closes 7th December.
