It may be National Butchers Week, but today we’re shining a light on our fish counter - where the same craft, care and knowledge applies.

Like butchery, fishmongery has evolved, but at its heart is tradition and we’re proud to source our fresh fish from Buxton-based RG Morris, a sixth-generation seafood business that’s been selling fish since 1881.

Heading to market well before sunrise, the RG Morris team selects the highest quality seafood and delivers to us six days a week. Once it arrives in store, our skilled fish counter team prepares and displays it - and they’re always happy to answer questions, share cooking tips, or help you choose the perfect fish for your meal 🐟

And if you need inspiration, have a chat with Ian - he’s worked on the Chatsworth fish counter for 16 years and is as passionate about fish as they come.
