The counter is absolutely packed to the brim with top quality produce this weekend. We’ve got everything from roasting joints and dry aged steaks to flavoured sausages, our popular black garlic minute steaks, minted lamb steaks and Chinese pork ribs.

Whether you’re planning a family roast, firing up the BBQ or just looking for something special for tea, we’ve got you covered. As always, all our meat is locally sourced.

🥩 Full/Part Time Full Carcass Butcher Required 🥩

We are looking for an experienced full carcass butcher to join our busy team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available for the right candidate.

The role includes:
Full carcass breakdown
Preparing and presenting meat to a high standard
Producing quality cuts and counter displays
Maintaining cleanliness and food hygiene standards

What we’re looking for:
Experience in full carcass butchery is essential
Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
Passion for quality local produce
Friendly and professional attitude

Competitive rates of pay depending on experience.

Probably our best counter of the year so far! Fully stocked this weekend with something for everyone, from all your favourite flavoured sausages and Chinese pork ribs, to minted lamb chops and black garlic minute steaks. If you prefer to keep it traditional, we’ve got plenty of classic Cumberland sausage too.

All of our meat is locally sourced from Cumbria, so whether you’re after roasting joints or quality steaks, we’ve got you covered!

After an amazing response to the guess the weight competition the winner will be announced on Monday so get your guesses in!

Easter weekend counter is looking full, with something special at the end 👀, our brand new dry ageing fridge cabinet! It’s only taken me 4 years to convince Jimmy to finally get one… but it’s here now. Keep your eyes peeled, there’s plenty more to come with this! But please dont touch the glass or try open!

We’ve got a full display this weekend, all things lamb! From b***d and rolled shoulders, shoulders on the bone, legs of lamb, chump chops, right through to saddle of lamb , we’ve got it covered. There’s already been a lot of demand, so don’t leave it until the last minute, get yours ordered and reserved before it’s gone!

We’ve had quite a few people asking if we’re open this Friday and the answer is YES! Jimmy says we’re not allowed days off 🤪

Easter is always a busy time for us, with everyone after quality lamb. If that’s you, make sure to get your orders in early to secure some beautiful local British produce, as we only have limited availability.

We’ve got plenty to choose from, including bone in shoulders, b***d and rolled shoulders, legs of lamb, lamb chops, and even boneless saddle of lamb if you’re looking to impress! If you want any of it minted let us know and we will happily do so.
