Blasus is an independent, family owned Delicatessen specialising in delicious hand-made food and wine from Wales, Italy and the rest of Europe. We stock a strong range of raw-milk farmhouse cheeses, fine wines (mainly Old World, with a focus on Italy), quality charcuterie, fresh bread, pasta & rice, olives, very very good coffee (from a small roasting house in Bristol), home made tarts (both sweet

Another trip round the sun brings us to Spring again and importantly, wild garlic season. This means the return of our sought after, seasonal, simply scrummy Spring Chicken sandwich. We roast top quality free-range Pembrokeshire chicken (in cold pressed Pembs rapeseed oil), add plenty of wild garlic leaves, fresh parsley, lots of lemon & black pepper, sea salt & mayo. 25 years of the original chilli jam. Tracklements were the first to produce chilli jam commercially in the uk. It’s sweet & fiery and made using fresh chillies. Like all of their range it’s free of industrial additives and artificial ingredients. This iconic product is a staff favourite and best seller here - it also forms the basis of some of our most popular filled baguettes (sweet chilli crayfish and hummus & chilli jam to name two). Chocolate & Fig Salame - a classic ‘figgy pudding’ of sorts from Calabria, Southern Italy. Made by a traditional pasticceria using the famous dottato figs, it’s a sweet vegan treat designed to be sliced and eaten with a coffee or a sweet wine after dinner. A little goes a long way. Gluten free too! A great little stocking filler.

Rabitos Royale! We look forward to getting these for Christmas possibly more than any other product. Produced in Extremadura using calabacita figs (prized for their thin skins and super juicy texture) which are filled with chocolate truffle and then covered with chocolate. Brandy & dark OR salted caramel & milk - you choose. A totally luxurious nibble for a winter evening.
