We will have a special guest at the this weekend: Award winning cookbook author

Jenny has teamed up with The Community Fridge and The Need Project to produce The Community Cookbook. They invited local chefs, foodies and friends to contribute recipes using ingredients that are regularly donated in order to help give ideas on what and how to cook simple and delicious meals at home.

Each suggested donation of £10 will help fundraise for further community projects and for further print runs.

Come get your copy at the market this Sunday 14 June 2026, 9:30am-12:30pm at the Caxton Village Hall!

One of our most-loved regulars is back on Sunday 14 June — and trust us, you’ll want to arrive hungry! 😄
bring so much more than their legendary artisan sourdough loaves. Think golden quiches, flaky sausage rolls, mouth watering focaccia, glossy cardamom buns and beautiful little tarts topped with seasonal fruit...just to name a few.
Everything is handmade in small batches and the finest ingredients. It’s the kind of stall you’ll want to linger at — and leave with far more than you planned.
They sell out fast, so get there early!

This mobile zero waste shop is doing things a little differently. Bring your own containers (or borrow one of theirs), fill up on organic dried goods, cleaning products, pick and mix, washing up liquid, muesli and so much more — then pay by weight. Simple, sustainable, and seriously satisfying.
