🧀 It’s Lyburn Farm Cheese Week at Bay Leaves Larder! 🧀
We’re kicking off our new Local Spotlight by celebrating one of our brilliant local suppliers: Lyburn Cheese.

And this felt like the perfect week to do it: Lyburn founders Mike & Judy are the 2026 Presidents of the The Romsey Show, taking place this Saturday at Broadlands Park. 🎪

So, whether Lyburn is already a firm favourite or you’ve never tried their cheeses before, consider this your excuse to (re)discover something deliciously local. And of course, we couldn’t celebrate Lyburn without getting a little cheesy ourselves… 👀

Some treats are just impossible to resist… and our Sicilian Only Cannoli are definitely one of them! 😍🇮🇹 Crisp on the outside, deliciously creamy inside and presented beautifully in a box, they make the perfect gift for someone special - or a very well-deserved treat for yourself.

Pop the kettle on, make yourself a cuppa and enjoy… although judging by all the hands reaching for one, you might want to grab yours quickly! 😂

And yes… they’re officially approved by young AND old.
The only difficult decision? Whether to share the box or keep it for yourself. 😉

Bay Leaves community… we may have outdone ourselves with this one. 👀 Say hello to today’s homemade temptation: WHITE CHOCOLATE ROCKY ROAD!

It’s chunky, gooey, sweet, ridiculously moreish and currently making the whole coffee shop smell AMAZING.

Perfect for a well-earned coffee break, a little treat with the kids, or one of those “I’ll just have a tiny piece…” moments that somehow turns into a proper slice. 😂

Homemade right here at Bay Leaves Larder, as always, and available today in the coffee shop & deli.

Parents, sweet-toothed locals and cake lovers… consider this your warning. Come and get it before everyone else does! 🩵

🌶️ You know those condiments that start as “I’ll just try a little bit…” and somehow end up living permanently on your kitchen table?
This is one of them. 👀🔥

Tracklements Sriracha Chilli Sauce is sitting proud on our shelves and a favourite of yours.
It’s got that perfect kind of heat: enough of a kick to wake up your tastebuds, but not so much that you lose all the delicious flavour. Fermented red chillies, garlic, sweetness and tanginess all come together to create that irresistible just one more drizzle situation.

And the best bit? There are absolutely no rules.

Friday night takeaway? Add it.
Sunday brunch eggs? Definitely.
Leftover rice that needs bringing back to life? YES.
Mix it into mayo for a spicy dip? Now we’re talking.
Chicken marinade, noodles, tacos, avocado toast, burgers, prawns… honestly, we’re struggling to think of something it wouldn’t make better.

Our current favourite idea? A generous drizzle over a crispy fried egg on sourdough. Simple. Messy. Delicious. 🤤

Since 2008, Sarah has poured so much hard work, heart and passion into Bay Leaves Larder, with a vision of bringing our community and brilliant local suppliers together.
Alongside her lovely team, she has worked to create the kind of coffee and deli shop where you can pop in for something delicious, enjoy a friendly welcome, and hopefully leave already looking forward to your next visit! ☕🥐🧀
And it doesn’t stop there… from catering for your special moments and celebrations, to sharing her huge passion for Thermomix Sarah's Thermomix Larder and showing just how fun, simple and enjoyable cooking can be, Sarah certainly keeps herself busy!
Away from the Larder, she’s also a super grandma, completely besotted with her gorgeous grandkids and her girls, and a wonderful, loyal friend to those lucky enough to know her personally. Family means the world to her, and that same warmth and care shines through in everything she does.

One of those specials you try once… and then immediately hope it stays on the board. 😍 Our Barkham Blue Cheese, Fig Relish & Walnut Open BEK sourdough bakery Sourdough Toastie is seriously delicious: creamy, tangy blue cheese, sweet fig relish and crunchy walnuts, all piled onto toasted sourdough.
It’s rich, comforting, a little bit indulgent and such a good combination of flavours. 🩵
If you’re popping into Bay Leaves Larder, make this your lunch while it’s still on the specials board… you may find yourself thinking about it afterwards. 😋

Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a while, there’s a spot for you at Bay Leaves Larder.
Choose a comfortable table, pull up a seat at the breakfast bar if you fancy getting a little work done (there are plugs nearby), or claim the perfect spot for some people-watching.
On warmer days, you can cool off inside with the air conditioning, or make the most of a soft ray of sunshine out on the terrace with a good coffee in hand.
We’re also pram-friendly, with space for little ones, and dogs are always welcome too. 🐾
It’s your local place to meet, work, catch up, pause for a moment, or simply enjoy something delicious.

🍎 Apple c***r vinegar - there’s more than one way to enjoy it! We’re often told we should add certain things into our daily routine, but the tricky part is finding a way that actually works for us. That’s one of the things we like about the Willy's ACV range.
