We’ve been absolutely blown away at the SHARE Homeless Action Centre (SHAC) today 💙

Yesterday, the lovely Caitlin from Tesco’s Community Support Fund came to see first-hand what we do here at the SHAC. Every weekday, we support around 40 people experiencing homelessness – offering a healthy breakfast, clothing, self-care essentials, and those vital first phone calls that can change lives.

After witnessing this, Caitlin and Ellen returned this morning, arms full of the essentials we so urgently need to keep supporting our guys.

A huge thank you to Tesco for standing with us and making a real difference 💙🙏

A huge thank you to Share SHAC for giving us the opportunity to support such an incredible and much-needed organisation.

After spending time with the dedicated volunteers and staff, it’s clear just how vital the SHAC is to our local community. Their hard work provides more than just food and supplies – they offer comfort, dignity, and a safe place for people who need it most.

Having somewhere to go for a hot meal and essential items can make all the difference for those facing difficult times. The SHAC is truly a lifeline, and we’re so proud to play a small part in supporting the amazing work they do every day.

We would also like to thank all our customers who donate via our book table these donations allow Tesco Chester City Community to help continue this support in our community.

From providing delicious packed lunches 🥪🍎 to helping raise vital funds with in-store bucket collections, it’s been a joy to be part of something that truly brings people together.

Events like this remind us just how important it is to have a strong community bond – giving everyone the chance to connect, make memories, and enjoy special moments together.

Especially during the summer holidays, trips out like these help create joy, laughter, and togetherness that last far beyond the day itself. 🌞
