The picnic & hamper co has been established for over 20 years, recently taken over by a new owner
We cook in our commercial kitchen unit within a business centre in Hambrook outside Chichester


Growing from local demand we now supply specialist shops and cafes around Sussex and Hampshire with our unique produce. We continue to sell at farmers markets and shows where we have established a loyal

and regular group of customers. We are proud of our products which are all handmade in small batches using locally sourced ingredients. We believe they are special and more importantly, so do our customers. Attached are our contact details and a full list of of our produce. Many of the cakes and tarts are supplied in individual or large size. "Off sales" are available from our kitchen and can be purchased directly by arrangement. Just call Penny for further info.

I have had a massive order for a local event which included 600 of these plus nearly 600 brownies,
I can no longer be at Chichester farmers market tomorrow.

I am so sorry, this is the first time I have had to pull out of a market but wholesale has gone crazy this week.

My amazing friend is doing something crazy.
We are all trying to escape the cold weather but Zoe has decided to submerge herself in ice and snow and even sleep in it! I know!!!!

She is going on a 200km trek in coldsville
Have a look on her story…

Three years ago she did Kilimanjaro ,all for the amazing hospice Isle of Wight Mountbatten that supported her family through the most desperate times.
She said finnies helped up the hill of Kilimanjaro so surely they will help with the next adventure… oh and ginger cake will help too, so I am loading her backpack with goodies.

Lovely people, I am looking for another member of staff due to the increase in workload!

Great to have but I’m getting a bit knackered now!!!

So, what I need is someone to do Monday and Tuesday 8-2 roughly.

You have to be fun, hardworking and any catering experience would be great.
Occasionally an odd day extra would be required.

I am based in Hambrook near funtington so transport would be needed
