Join Sevi on his adventure picking up local raspberries! 😂♥️

It was a pleasure to have a little tour from Noella at Emery Soft Fruits Ltd who took us around one of their glasshouses in Almodington - just 3 miles from The Grocery.

We were delighted to bring back some of the juiciest, freshest raspberries - from plant to shop shelf in just one morning! We really value seeing exactly where our local produce comes from and the love and care that’s put into growing it ☀️

We’ve got some gorgeous raspberries from Emery Soft Fruits fresh in store now ♥️

After 23 amazing years operating under the Horrocks name, we are delighted to introduce ‘The Grocery’. We’ve got a fresh new look and name, but our great produce remains the same ❤️

We’re so grateful for all the conversations, support and friendly faces that have been part of Horrocks over the years, and we hope this new chapter continues to feel like a warm, welcoming part of the community 🏘️

The Grocery aims to reflect our evolving community through this refined, modern look, whilst still celebrating selling fresh, seasonal produce in the area we’re so lucky to be a part of 🙌

A few more lovely things in the shop this week 🌱

Beautiful flat peaches, fresh bunch spinach, globe artichokes, British asparagus (both green and purple), and some gorgeous hispi cabbage.

Plenty there for simple, seasonal cooking - something fresh, something green, and something a little bit special.

Fresh produce we’re loving in the shop this week 🌿

We’ve got some really lovely bits in at the moment, including English asparagus, purple sprouting broccoli, leeks, romanesco cauliflower, and a great selection of tomatoes - Isle of Wight plum tomatoes, Isle of Wight organic beef tomatoes, and Spanish Kumato tomatoes 🍅

Plenty there for simple salads, roasting trays, soups, or just adding a bit of colour to your meals this week.
