WHERE IT BEGAN...
After Jamie's stay at La Iguana Chocolate in 2014 he was inspired by the family's passionate hands on approach to fine organic cocoa farming. They have always and continue to use traditional methods when it comes to growing, harvesting, fermenting, drying, roasting and finally peeling their cocoa beans. Jamie's luxurious chocolates and truffles wer
e crafted using single origin coverture chocolate and single origin cocoa beans. We worked closely with the La Iguana family who live in a small village of Mastatal in the mountains of Costa Rica. In 2017, Jamie visited additional producers and farmers he worked with in Madagascar where some of the highest quality cacao is grown in the world. This adventure took Jamie to some remote cacao farms in the East and north of Madagascar which enthused his passion for fine chocolate and fairer trade. We only use fine ingredients and specially select our beans and chocolate from other passionate chocolate makers or farmers. WHERE IT CONCLUDED...
After 7 wonderful years as a chocolatier and business owner, Jamie brought the JK Fine Chocolates to a close and now works on an innovative business support project in Hampshire, enabling others to change a passion into a business.
