Our last day today but we still have a full delivery of fresh bread and a perhaps less impressive amount of cheese in store today.

Do pop down for a croissant and a cheerio!

Last few days! And still some bargains to be had!

Also the the last of our prints, hoodies and magnets.

Remember all shelf stock (excluding cheese and bread and some gift cards) is half marked price! That's toys, chocolates, stationery! Come and grab a bargain before it's almost gone!

Good morning everyone.

We are sadly just a couple of weeks away from closing our doors for the last time. It is a real wrench to not only be closing one of the few high street businesses in Chinley but also removing a public service and a community hub.

This decision was not taken lightly and we have limped on for longer than we probably should have. I hope you all understand the severe economic conditions that have contributed to this situation.

I will endeavour to make sure that some services remain in the village. There are hopes of a mobile Post Office operating within the village. Our fresh bread will move across the road to .

On the plus side, we will continue to supply fresh breads, pies, cheeses until we close and from today. All our shelf items (coffee, wine, souvenirs etc) are 50% off until we close starting from today!

Finally, if you are interested in any fixtures or fittings our shelves are also available (for a reasonable price!)

Blackbrook Valley Arts are excited to present Charlie Moritz & Friends in concert, to launch his new album "Seeking Connection" at the Community Centre (SK23 6BE) on Saturday 18 October 2025.

Doors open at 7:00pm. Performance starts at 7:30pm.
Tickets £12 from Chinley Post Office, Chinley Co-op and online at https://wegottickets.com/event/674742.

Licensed bar with real ale, wine and soft drinks. Hot drinks are also available. Disabled access.

Proceeds from the gig will be donated to the charity War Child.
