Todays ‘Whats in store for you , feature’. You’d not believe it! We’ve gone even more hardware. Scroll in take a look at the extra bits and bobs we had delivered.

If you’ve run out of cable ties, need cable clips, plumbers tape or gloves, washers or picture hooks we can supply plus plenty more.

Our stationary corner has expanded and we’ve a range of hair care products. Hair Bobbles, Brushes, Combs, Hair Scissors and more. Pop in have a good look 👀 at our end of aisle sections. We are handy!

As far as we are aware the Population of Hullavington is around 1200 people?

If everyone spent £1 a week in the Village Shop (besides Newspapers and Lottery) that would increase revenue immensely allowing us to dramatically improve the products and services we can provide. So please spread the word and support the Shop, help increase our Facebook following. We promise not to bombard with posts.

This time next year who knows, maybe entry into ‘Small Retailer of the Year’ awards’. 🤔We’ve heard on the Grape Vine Hullavington won ‘Best Kept Village’. Is this true? Please send the good news across. Let us share in this success. Hopefully the Village Shop Floral Tributes helped, along with our tidy front and back 🥰

BTW We’ve a new delivery of Patio Gas etc in so all of you who’ve been waiting we can now supply for those lovely Summer BBQ’s. What we cannot provide is the weather. Sorry!!!

What’s New In-Store for you? This seems to be becoming a regular feature……

Cookie Dough Ice-Cream, Cinnamon (by customer request), different Brioches, Rainbow Belts, Chocolate M&M’s and Oreo Bites. Hopefully as exciting to our Customers as it is to us 😁👍🥰 We aim to please.

We Even met a customers’ requirements this week by having a tv aerial installation kit. Yippeee! (Last one in so don’t all rush for one straight away 🤣). No stampedes please although tv maybe useful in such British Summer Weather.

Sweet Memories this morning 😌……..

Aniseed Balls, Lemon Sherberts, Black Jacks and Gobstoppers to name but a few, Ooo not forgetting Sherbert Flying Saucers that melted in your mouth. Well no longer can you get a sweet for a Farthing or Four for 1p , unfortunately. The earliest recollections we have at the Hullavington Village Shop are Two for a penny and that’s when the Village Shop was opposite Greens Close.

Our cheapest sweet now is 15p ( plus the cheapest item in the shop apart from carrier bags) and we’ve three new varieties in (sweets not bags🤣) Rainbow Drops, Vimto Chew Bars and Strawberry Refreshers with a fizzy Sherbert Centre. We also sell toothpaste and mouthwash to keep your teeth healthy 🤣

Anymore sweet memories to share? please let us know. Maybe they will be on the shelf soon by popular demand.

Anyone for a bit of home baking?

As per customer requests we’ve got Yeast New in store, so dig out those bread makers from the back of the cupboards! We also stock a good varied range of home baking products if you’ve nothing to go outside for in this dismal weather , maybe bake a 🍰 cake?

Back in stock this week our Jacks Mince Beef along with (New In) a Dolmio Lasagne Sauce. All you need to go Italian over the weekend including Lasagne sheets, Spaghetti, Herbs + Garlic Bread.

If you can’t be bothered to cook we’ve ready made Bisto Roast Chicken Dinners.

And one for the Children( or you big kids at heart) Nesquik Chocolate Milkshake . Yummy!
