That first half was an absolute belter. Pure class, and we deserved to go in front. It showed we’ve got a squad full of quality players who just wanted to get the ball down and play.

Mind, Argentina are always a massive test. Historically, they’re one of the most technically gifted and tactically intelligent teams in world football, and today they made us work for every ball with an incredibly physical performance.

But wor lads never backed down for a second. They stood up to the challenge, defended brilliantly, and showed tremendous heart against one of the best sides around.
