Last week we were pleased to make a Ramadan donation to one of our local Mosques, Ar-Rahmah Academy where one of the food banks we support each week also runs from, Helping Hands.

Mr Esa, Director at Helping Hands, said: “Thank you for your generous Ramadan donation. Your contribution will be put to very good use.”

Shaz Malik, Co-Founder of Helping Hands, added: “It’s been really good working with Morrisons. Through Morrisons’ donations we’ve been able to support multiple communities across Chorley and help people who need it most. With that support we’ve also managed to build small food banks locally, including at the Church (Chorley U.R.C) and the Mosque (Ar-Rahmah Academy).”

Thank you again to the Morrisons team for continuing to stand with the Chorley community.

Thank you to our lovely customers who supported our food drive today. What an amazing community we have 💚

We have had an amazing day at Morrisons Chorley with our Pop-Up Food Drive. Our trolly was full, our community rallied round and responded magnificently. Thank you Hannah the Morrisons Chorley Community Champion and all the staff who supported us. And thanks to all our volunteers who helpedtoday, and the volunteers who will now be making much needed food parcels next week. Amazing.
