Browns the Butchers Chorley's oldest, real family butchers. Proudly supplying the local area with high quality meats. which has now been around for 30 years.

We are a small town business who since 1932, have been providing the people of Chorley (and surrounding areas) with only the best quality meats & meat produce. Browns is famous for having the attribute, being the Lancashire Haggis Co. The haggis co was initially created by John Brown senior and then so evolved by tuning the original recipe by Tim and Chris Brown (sons).

🥩It’s another special steak weekend 🥩

This one is called Stabiliser. This was only recognised as its own breed in around 2014 in the UK. It’s what’s known as a composite beef cattle breed.

It is an evenly balanced mix of British (native) and Continental breeds, combining Hereford, Angus, Simmental, and Gelbvieh.

These breeds have been chosen to highlight marbelling, flavour, tenderness and quality.

Lean pork loin, tenderised and battened out to quickly pan fry, coated in a delicious crunchy crumb of paprika, turmeric, pepper, garlic and lemon.
