After 24 incredible years at Saxtons Deli in Church Stretton, Georgie is moving on to an exciting new venture - and it truly feels like the end of an era.

For nearly a quarter of a century, Georgie has been so much more than a familiar face behind the counter. She has been at the heart of Saxtons - welcoming everyone with a smile, remembering orders, sharing a chat, and bringing warmth and kindness to our little corner of Church Stretton every single day.

Through busy mornings, lunchtime rushes, and countless cups of coffee, Georgie has been a constant, a friendly presence who made Saxtons feel like home to so many of us. Her dedication, hard work, and genuine care for the community have left a lasting mark that won’t be forgotten.

While we’ll miss seeing her at the deli, we’re so excited to see her step into this next chapter. If she brings even half the passion and heart she’s shown over the past 24 years, there’s no doubt she’ll make it an incredible success.

Thank you, Georgie, for everything you’ve given to Saxtons and to Church Stretton. Wishing you all the happiness and success in your new adventure - you truly deserve it. 💛

✨ A night to remember ✨

Tonight we had the honour of serving a celebratory seasonal three-course banquet in support of the incredible charity FCRS.org, whose work helps fund school meals for children in Conakry, Guinea. ❤️🇬🇳

From winter-bright flavours to warm community spirit, every plate served tonight helped make a real difference.

And to top it off, we were treated to soulful live music from the brilliant Joe Seager 🎶

Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported, cooked, played, and shared in this meaningful evening. Together, we nourish more than just appetites. 💛
