The farm has been in the Gittens family for three generations since 1927 and continues to be farmed traditionally with animal welfare an utmost consideration. All the beef, pork lamb and mutton is reared and finished at Heath Farm. The beef comes from single suckled, well fleshed Hereford cross heifers, slaughtered locally, the carcass is then hung for three weeks plus in our cold room, which gives the meet more tenderness and flavour, then butchered in our shop on the farm. The pork comes from gilts because of its superior taste and eating quality. Heath Farm produces many varieties of homemade sausages ,gammons ,and home-cured bacon
The lamb comes from all home bred Texel cross, fed on grass and lamb pellets during the growing season and housed indoor for the winter months. Traditional Butchery Shop
