Three calves today, two dun and one black. They’re really cracking on with it now. So far twice as many heifers as bull calves 🤷‍♀️

We are excited to announce that in the Cumbria Farmers shop tomorrow (Saturday 16th) we will have 4 different cheeses from the The Ethical Dairy. Calf at foot system producing excellent cheese.

Our shop is 5 minutes from Cockermouth at Embleton - you can find Cumbria Farmers on Google maps. We will be open from 10am to 1pm.

As well as our lovely grass fed beef and lamb we have a range of fruit and veggies, mostly from Growing Well at Egremont. Do come and say hello!

The Cumbria Farmers shop at Embleton is open tomorrow afternoon (Wednesday 13th) 3-5pm.
This week we have our first seasonal fruit and veggies on offer so do come and have a look.

Picasso is looking for a new home.

Purebred Dun Belted Galloway Bull. Grass fed, outwintered, no supplementary feed. Great conformation, ready to work. Quiet and easy to handle.

Our first calf of 2026. He was a bit stuck and Mum Nutmeg was struggling so we helped her get him out. Obviously a traumatic experience as she then ran off!! But everyone else came down to have a look. We managed to get them together in the pen and he first stood up in a moving trailer which is quite impressive. Thankfully she decided she does love him so all is well. 🧡🤍🧡
