No markets for us this weekend… we’re taking a few days away and finally tackling the mountain of admin! ✉️💻📱
Firstly, sorry if replies have been a little slower than usual lately! We’ve been flat out behind the scenes and are trying to catch up properly over the next few days. Thank you for all bearing with us💚

BBQ weather is here!😍😍
And yes… mushrooms on the BBQ are seriously underrated👀
Our fresh Lion’s Mane and oyster mushrooms are AMAZING on the barbie, just leave them whole, drizzle with oil add a little salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon when cooking 🍋

Perfect in burgers, as a side, tacos, skewers, hot salads and more ! 😋

Wow…what a weekend! 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone at the on Saturday for such an incredible day. This was our very first time attending as stall holders and honestly… just wow! We are still processing it all!😳

We feel so lucky (and quite emotional if we’re honest!!🥹) to have been awarded First in Show in the food hall for 2026. In amongst the chaos of a very busy day, it was one of those moments where all of the early mornings, late nights, long market days and hard work suddenly all felt so worth it!

To everyone who stopped by the stand, bought one of our products, chatted with us, followed us online, or simply encouraged us throughout the day, thank you. It means the world to us and our little business 🍄

We also feel incredibly lucky to have been featured in the following the show, another very surreal moment for us!

Also a huge thank you to a local micro vineyard in Ardleigh, for gifting us some amazing sparkling wine so we could raise a glass together🥂 We feel very lucky to be surrounded by such supportive customers and other incredible small businesses.

Now… time for a few large cups of coffee before the next adventure this Saturday festival! ☕️ Hopefully see some of you there!

We’re all set up at the 🍄

After lots of prep behind the scenes, we are finally here and ready for a fantastic day! 🌞 You’ll find us in the food tent with fresh mushrooms, seasonings, and plenty of other goodies!

Come and say hello and see what we’ve been growing down the road in Langham!

It still feels a little surreal being here as stall holders at events we used to visit growing up, very grateful for every bit of support 🥰

We’re at the Hadleigh Show this weekend and we’re really excited! 🌿🍄

Lots of preparation happening behind the scenes to get everything ready. If you can’t make it to the show, you can still find our mushrooms stocked in some fantastic farm shops and food halls across Essex and Suffolk 💚

With the late nights and busy lives, it’s easy not to pause and think about how far things have come.

I keep this £5 in the back of my phone for that very reason- it was our very first mushroom sale, one year ago when we started Sporadic Fungi🥰

Sometimes during a busy stressful day, I’ll glance at it and it reminds me that some of the best things in life start small and of how far we have come in our small business journey.

What started as a simple idea is slowly growing around our everyday lives and turning into something really meaningful. Along the way, we have met so many incredible, kind, and genuinely wonderful people, and we are so grateful for everyone’s ongoing support and for cheering us on! 🍄

This Sunday we’re heading to for their Spring Craft Fair 🌸
55+ beautiful stalls, local food and crafts and a wander through the gardens… what more could you want for your bank holiday weekend?!

We will have fresh mushrooms, dried bits, and a few extra goodies 👀

If you’ve never tried Lion’s Mane before, this is your sign 🦁 Here is a little baby Lion's Mane grown recently in the depths of Langham - which we named Simba 😅

It’s meaty, slightly sweet, and perfect for:
• mushroom steaks
• tacos
• stir fries
• putting on toast
• or just pan-fried with butter and garlic 😍

Fresh Lion’s Mane and more locally grown mushrooms are available this week at our stockists and markets!
